Bruce Blakley
Bruce Blakley passed away Thursday, September 22,2011. Services were held Wednesday, September 28, at Strode Funeral Home in Stillwater, and the graveside services were immediately afterward at Fairlawn-New Zion Cemetery in Cushing.
Bruce worked at REI for over 10 years and served as the semen division manager and more recently, as the lab manager. Bruce enjoyed his work and his co-workers at REI and his attitude and pleasantness reflected this. He greeted everyone everyday and always had a smile on his face. He would help anyone who asked, and sometimes even when they didn’t. Bruce would always lend an ear to anyone who had a need. He had a way of making you feel as if you were special and that he had all the time in the world for you. He had a kind, caring heart and a great sense of humor. We cannot say enough good things about him and we are deeply saddened by this loss. We will always miss his kindness, his open- mindedness, his fairness and most of all, his one of a kind smile and wave. We will always miss Bruce Blakley.
