Member of the American Embryo Transfer Association
Reproduction Enterprises, Inc. is dedicated to serving our customers with the uncompromising attention they deserve. Producers depend on us to generate and optimum number of embryos and pregnancies. People, from across the country, bring their Donors to REI for one reason, Superior Results!
DONOR/RECIPIENT MANAGEMENT
Most beef type cattle will resume estrus activity 50-60 days after calving. If cows are thinner than a Body Condition Score of 5 (on a scale of 1-9), estrus can occur as late as 120 days. It is best to use the second or third heat postpartum as the reference heat. After flushing some donors experience minor rebreeding problems and may require some extra reproductive attention.
RECIPIENT HERD
Our recipient herd consists primarily of Angus cross cows which have access to pasture while in clinic. Cows are selected to be free of udder problems and ability to carry any size calf. Recipient herd health is monitored daily and all cows have been tested for Bangs, Lepto, BVD, and Johnes.
ON FARM EMBRYO SERVICES
We also offer on farm services for flushing, embryo transfer, and artificial insemination.
